The award ceremony was held on December 26, 2025, at the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU). The scholarship was personally presented by the distinguished alumnus Mr. Lu Lien-Tsung (Class of ‘52) and his wife, Mrs. Lu Wang Min-Hua, who traveled from Tainan to honor the recipients.

Event Highlights:

• A Legacy of Gratitude: Mr. and Mrs. Lu have established a perpetual fund exceeding one million USD to support the department. Their core philosophy is “Sustainability” and “Gratitude” (Drinking water while thinking of its source).
• Words of Wisdom: During the ceremony, Mr. Lu encouraged students to stay grounded while keeping a broad vision. He emphasized that in the era of AI and rapid change, “Interdisciplinary learning is no longer an elective, but a requirement.”
• Future Vision: He urged students to build both “hard” and “soft” skills, emphasizing that proficiency in English and professional subjects are merely the basics. True success comes from the wisdom to make the right choices and the ability to learn across fields.

Department Chair, Professor Chang Yu-Kai, highlighted that the Lu family are not just providers of resources but role models of integrity and foresight. This scholarship aims to pass on these values to the next generation.

國立臺灣師範大學體育與運動科學系於2025年12月26日舉辦頒獎典禮。52級校友呂聯宗學長與呂王敏華賢伉儷特地自臺南返回母系，親自頒發獎助學金並勉勵學弟妹，展現對母校深厚的情感與長遠的承諾支持。

典禮紀實與師長勉勵：

• 永續支持與價值傳承： 系主任張育愷講座教授指出，呂學長夫婦設立之獎助學基金已逾百萬美元規模，並以「永續支持」為核心理念。這份獎學金的意義不僅止於經費支持，更在於將凡事預先規劃、對承諾負責的態度，傳遞給每一位年輕世代。

• 跨域學習與智慧選擇： 呂聯宗學長特別提點學弟妹，在AI當道與局勢快速變動的今天，精進英文與專業學科僅是基本功。他語重心長地強調：「跨域已不再是選修課（應然），而是必修課（必然）。」 唯有具備跨域學習的能力與做出正確選擇的智慧，才能安身立命。

• 飲水思源： 呂學長勉勵獲獎學生，期盼同學在接受幫助的同時，能記得來時的起點，並在未來有能力時，將這份善意持續傳承。
