Abstract
Background: This study assessed the association between cardiorespiratory fitness and cognitive function, independent of APOE genotype, in older adults using both behavioral and neuroelectric measures. Previous research has shown that higher cardiorespiratory fitness is linked to better neurocognitive performance, regardless of APOE genotype status.
